 Ingredient for Tarka Daal

• 1 Cup masoor daal ( split red lentil)
• ½ teaspoon garlic paste 
• ½ teaspoon chilli flakes
•  ¼ teaspoon turmeric 
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• salt to taste 
• 1 teaspoon oil 
• 2 tablespoons coriander 
• 2 green chillies 


Step-by-step Method for Tarka Daal

Step 1. Wash daal and boil until soft for the Tarka Daalo recipe.

Step 2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and saute onions until golden brown.

Step 3. Add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric, and red chili powder. Cook until oil separates. 

Step 4. Mix boiled lentils with the prepare tempering. Cook for 5 minutes. 

Step 5. Garnish with fresh coriander. Serve hot for a delicious homemade Tarka Daal.
